Mark A. Mazza

Mark A. Mazza is an Associate Attorney and Registered Patent Attorney at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky. Mr. Mazza works primarily in the areas of corporate law, trademark law, business services, public and non-profit, and business services groups.

Mr. Mazza started his legal career at SMGG in the summer of 2017 as a Summer Associate. After successfully passing the United States Patent and Trademark Office registration examination, Mr. Mazza continued as a law clerk at SMGG throughout his last year of law school and was asked to join the firm as an Associate after graduation. While at SMGG, Mr. Mazza has had exposure to a variety of practice areas, with an increased emphasis in corporate transactional law and trademark law.

Mr. Mazza graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in May 2018, cum laude. While there, he served as a Teaching Assistant for Professor Tara Willke’s Legal Research and Writing course and as the Executive Articles Editor for Volume 56 of the Duquesne Law Review.

For his undergraduate studies, Mr. Mazza attended the University of Pittsburgh from which he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry.

Outside of the firm, Mr. Mazza enjoys weight lifting and playing basketball.

Mr. Mazza grew up in Robinson Township, PA and currently resides in the Southside area of the City of Pittsburgh.
